Switchyard is built and supported by dks.studio. Questions, bugs, and setup help come straight to me.

Email hello@dks.studio. Tell me which edition you have and what you were doing when it went wrong. Nothing about your documents ever reaches me — send only what you are willing to type into an email.

Training and setup

The app installs and runs without help. What is worth an hour is the rest: which tools fit the way you already work, where your records folder lives, and getting a whole practice onto one habit instead of six. I do this directly, for individuals and for groups, and it includes training on building your own tools inside the app. Say roughly how many people are involved.

Common questions

Can this touch CUI?

That is a determination for your own system security plan, not something an app can certify. What is factually true: the app performs no network transmission of your material, so a solicitation or teaming document processed in Switchyard does not leave the endpoint it was opened on.

Does it summarize requirements?

It transcribes them. A shall-statement comes back with its section, verbatim, rather than paraphrased into a requirement the solicitation did not state.

Does anything leave my Mac?

No. The models run inside the app. There is no account and no server. The app shows a running count of bytes sent, and it reads zero.

Where are my files?

One folder on your Mac. Open the shield icon in the app — it shows the exact path and a Show in Finder button.

The first run is slow.

The bundled model loads once on first use. After that it is quick.

Can I use my own model?

Yes. If you run Ollama, point Switchyard at any model you have from the setup screen. That connection is also loopback-only.

What do I need to run it?

An Apple silicon Mac on macOS 12 or later. The download is around 6 GB because the models are inside the app rather than on someone's server.

Which edition should I buy?

The focused editions carry one profession's tools and open ready to use. Complete carries all of them plus automation — folder watchers, schedules, and goals you hand off.
